Process Development Associate – STEMCELL Technologies (Vancouver, Canada)

Job Summary:

The Process Development Associate will design, develop, and optimize scalable production processes to support the lifecycle of STEMCELL products. The role supports product introductions through development, scale‑up, and technology transfer, ensuring safety, consistency, and quality across the product lifecycle.

• Contribute to the development, optimization, and implementation of scalable production processes under supervision to meet project timelines.
• Perform analytical characterization of raw materials, in‑process components, and finished products using SOPs.
• Support the design and execution of process development studies, bench/pilot‑scale scale‑up operations, and experiments to optimize analytical methods.
• Assist in the technical transfer of processes or methods to other departments, including drafting clear SOPs.
• Analyze, document, and present experimental results to the team, while contributing to laboratory upkeep and safety activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Science or Engineering discipline with 0–2 years of laboratory experience.
• Foundational knowledge of analytical chemistry and/or cell biology principles; hands‑on experience in a laboratory setting following SOPs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting data, writing reports, and training others.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to collaborate effectively.
• Experience performing statistical analyses and interpreting experimental data; familiarity with statistical software packages such as SAS, JMP, or MS Excel is an asset.

Annual salary range: $58,500.00–$79,100.00.
