In this newly established role, you will work alongside AECOM’s geomorphology experts, engaging in diverse environmental projects that aim to restore natural processes. The successful candidate should be passionate about integrating science into practical solutions for ecological challenges and habitat restoration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of stream restoration projects
• Conduct analyses on sediment transport and erosion
• Collaborate extensively with engineers and ecologists
• Analyze data to ensure compliance with regulations
• Document investigations and provide design recommendations
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific or engineering field
• Minimum of 6 years relevant industry experience
• Familiarity with hydraulic modeling and GIS
• Knowledge of fluvial processes and ecological functions
• Ability to perform fieldwork and travel to remote locations
