Client Service Clerk at Lookout Housing

Location: new westminster

Join Lookout Housing and Health Society this summer as a full time Client Service Clerk at Carrs Place. Support vulnerable clients with essential resources and services during your temporary role.
This eight-week position is tailored for students in social work, public health, or related community service fields. Engage directly with clients, assist in the creation of service plans, and provide crucial support to help promote independence and healthier lifestyles. Experience the challenges and needs of marginalized populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance and basic skill training to clients

• Support intake processes and assess client needs

• Develop service plans and offer crisis intervention

• Manage paperwork and statistical data efficiently

• Perform additional duties as required
Requirements:

• Enrollment in Social Work or related program preferred

• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training is an asset

• Pass a satisfactory Criminal Record Check

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent organizational capabilities to handle workload
