Project Coordinator

Overview

This role is responsible for coordinating and executing customer projects through all phases, including initiation, planning, design, construction, and closeout. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces while working cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Duration: 12+ months (with a possibility of extension)

Location: Cadillac, Traverse City, or Boyne City, MI. Hybrid schedule with in-office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Sometime will also be spent in the field meeting with customers and supporting onsite project activity.

• Plan and execute new and existing customer projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, timelines, and project deliverables.
• Gather project scopes and ensure successful progression through design and construction phases.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with design, construction, and field teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Track project progress, resolve issues, and maintain strong communication across stakeholders.
• Conduct occasional field visits and customer meetings to support project execution.

• Experience in project coordination, project management, or construction coordination.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Utility or electric industry experience is preferred.
• Construction industry knowledge is highly desirable.
• Experience in related industries such as telecommunications, water utilities, or oil and gas will also be considered.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, contractors, and cross-functional internal teams.
