Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of first article parts and assemblies against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Utilize a variety of precision measuring instruments and equipment, including CMM, calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators.
• Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, completing required forms, reports, and non-conformance records.
• Identify and analyze non-conformances, communicating discrepancies to engineering, production, and quality teams for resolution.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to interpret complex blueprints and resolve measurement challenges.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Provide training and guidance to production personnel on quality requirements and measurement techniques.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).
• Strong understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes and AS9102 requirements.
• Ability to identify and document non-conformances accurately.
