Position: Senior Purchasing Officer Role at SAIT
Become a Senior Purchasing Officer at SAIT and lead procurement strategies for an institution committed to excellence!

Your role will align with ensuring compliance and achieving best value through effective purchasing.

As part of the Finance team, you will report to the Team Lead of Supply Management and be responsible for acquiring supplies, materials, and services vital to the overall functioning of SAIT. Your expertise will support competitive bidding processes and foster effective supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure essential supplies, services, and equipment for SAIT

• Oversee daily procurement activities for specific commodities

• Coordinate competitive bidding in line with regulatory requirements

• Develop bid documents, tenders, and specifications

• Manage existing supplier relationships and compliance with agreements

Requirements:

• College Diploma minimum;
Bachelor's preferred

• 7 years of relevant procurement experience

• Experience in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation

• Knowledge of relevant certifications: CSCP, CPIM, CPSM, or CPM preferred

Deliver procurement excellence while ensuring SAIT's operational effectiveness and financial oversight.
