Site Superintendent

Position: Site Superintendent Role
Lead impactful construction projects as a Site Superintendent with Bird in Calgary. Foster safety and quality through effective team management and communication.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction site operations. Your expertise will guide subcontractors and laborers to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Engaging with your team, you will provide mentorship and establish constructive relationships, aiming for project completion on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement the Bird Safety Program effectively

• Supervise field staff and maintain positive workplace morale

• Manage contracts and oversee project scopes

• Address scheduling challenges and quality issues promptly

• Maintain site reports and documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in construction

• Proven track record with projects worth $10-25 million

• Competency in project management software like MS Project

• Background in carpentry or Gold Seal Certification preferred

• Strong understanding of building techniques and safety compliance
