The Department of Sociology and Anthropology invites applicants for this part-time sessional position. You will deliver engaging lectures, develop assessments, and participate in departmental meetings in a supportive academic environment. A strong emphasis is placed on critical pedagogy and decolonization in course content.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and deliver engaging course lectures
• Design course activities and assessments
• Maintain course D2L site and resources
• Submit attendance sheets and final grades
• Attend program meetings as required
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Anthropology or related field
• Preference for Ph.D. candidates or those with completed degrees
• Commitment to critical and Indigenous pedagogical approaches
• Ability to provide academic transcripts
• Strong teaching philosophy and experience
