Assistant Professor in Midwifery Education

The role, based in Alberta, is available until August 2027 and requires a commitment to midwifery education. You will develop courses and enhance the curriculum while providing quality education to students at all levels. Experience in Neonatal Resuscitation and Emergency Skills is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver midwifery education programs
• Engage in course and program development
• Maintain active registration as a midwife in Alberta
• Support students through practical learning experiences
• Option for research involvement if desired
Requirements:
• Master’s degree required;
PhD preferred
• At least 5 years of recent midwifery practice
• Qualifications in Fetal Health and Emergency Skills
• Registered midwife eligibility with Alberta
• Strong commitment to teaching excellence
