The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary seeks a Sessional Instructor for Fall 2026 to teach ACCT 361. This role is centered around delivering effective cost accounting education, using both in-person and digital platforms.
As a Sessional Instructor, you will teach three sections of ACCT 361 during the Fall semester. Candidates must have a relevant undergraduate degree and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation from Canada. Prior experience in post-secondary teaching is essential, with preference given to those who have taught ACCT 361.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach ACCT 361 LEC 01, LEC 02, & LEC 03
• Utilize Zoom and D2L platforms effectively
• Prepare and deliver engaging course content
• Assess student performance and provide feedback
• Facilitate tutorials and interactive sessions
Requirements:
• Completion of a relevant undergraduate degree
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
• Previous post-secondary teaching experience
• Experience teaching ACCT 361 preferred
• Familiarity with digital education tools
