Description
The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for a Sessional Instructor to teach Fall 2026 ACCT 361 LEC 01, LEC 02 & LEC 03 (Cost Accounting). Classes in the Fall 2026 semester run from September 1 to December 4, 2025. Registrar scheduled exams will take place between December 8 and December 18, 2026, if applicable.

The calendar description of the course:
The production of accounting data for the purpose of decision‑making, control and evaluation. Topics covered are in the cost classifications and methods of cost establishment, cost data appropriate for decision models, standards and controls.
- Completion of a related undergraduate degree is required.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation from Canada is required.
- Previous post‑secondary accounting teaching experience is required.
- Preference will be given to applicants who have previous experience teaching ACCT 361.
- Experience in programs such as Zoom, D2L and other digital education products would be an asset.
The amount of remuneration is calculated according to the Collective Agreement, Schedule
B.
