The University of Calgary’s Faculty of Nursing seeks Sessional Nursing Instructors to teach the BScN program for Term
4. Successful candidates will facilitate clinical simulation activities and work with small student groups in diverse care settings. This position includes opportunities for mentorship, orientation, and professional development to foster teaching excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate simulation activities in Clinical Simulation Learning Centre
• Collaborate with small student groups in acute and chronic care
• Participate in faculty governance and team meetings
• Assess and evaluate student performance on and off campus
• Foster an environment of inquiry and evidence-informed practice
Requirements:
• Must be eligible for Alberta nursing registration
• Current practice experience in nursing
• Clinical teaching and mentoring experience
• BN/BScN preparation or higher required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
Enhance nursing education through effective teaching strategies and practical experience within the University of Calgary’s innovative environment.
