Sessional Instructor ENTI

Position: Sessional Instructor for ENTI 601
Join the Haskayne School of Business as a Sessional Instructor to teach ENTI 601 and inspire entrepreneurial thinking in students. Classes are scheduled for the Fall 2026 semester.

We need an instructor to teach four sections of Entrepreneurial Thinking at the University of Calgary. Candidates should have a PhD and proven experience in both teaching and entrepreneurship. Engaging students with real business scenarios and scientific principles is essential for this role. Preference will be given to individuals who have taught the course previously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver four sections of ENTI 601 throughout Fall 2026

• Facilitate experiential learning activities in classes

• Guide students in conducting feasibility studies

• Incorporate research and scholarship into the curriculum

• Assess student understanding through various formats

Requirements:

• A PhD or equivalent in a related field

• Teaching experience in university-level entrepreneurship courses

• Proven record in starting or managing small businesses

• Relevant professional experience in entrepreneurship

• Preference for candidates with prior teaching of this course
