Become a Geological Drilling Rig Monitor focused on supporting vital drilling activities in the field. Take charge of monitoring and geotechnical operations during scheduled shifts.
This is an independent role requiring significant drilling experience, including working with Sonic, Mud Rotary, and Dual Rotary rigs. You will ensure compliance with project requirements while performing soil sampling and borehole logging. The job supports operational goals within an active mining context.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and support drilling rig operations
• Execute geotechnical installations and testing as needed
• Log boreholes thoroughly and accurately
• Meet all borehole and sampling requirements
• Transport collected materials promptly
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Geology or related field
• Minimum 3 years of drilling rig experience required
• Class 5 Driver’s License with valid Abstract
• Standard First Aid Level C with AED required
• Drug testing and background checks are mandatory
