Tilesetter

The work setting will be dusty and noisy across various locations and requires a physically active and detail-oriented candidate.

• Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered.
• Prepare rough plans and sketches.
• Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
• Align and straighten tiles.
• Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
• Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
• Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite.
• Mix, lay and polish terra surfaces.
• Install tile strips.

• Education:
  
  College/CEGEP.
• Experience:
  
  7 months to less than 1 year.
• Valid driver''s licence.
• Physical capability to handle heavy loads, bend, crouch and kneel.
• Strong attention to detail, client focus, judgment, reliability and teamwork.

Work schedule:

30 to 40 hours per week, permanent term. Shift and start time may vary.
