Responsibilities

Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered

Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowel

Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to base

Align and straighten tiles

Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools

Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles

Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designs

Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite

Mix, lay and polish terra surfaces

Install tile strips

Qualifications

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience

English language proficiency

Valid driver’s licence

Working Conditions and

Physical Requirements

Physically demanding; handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling

Dusty and noisy work environment; various locations on site

Attention to detail required

Work Location
10758 74th St SE, Calgary, AB T2C 5N6. Work must be completed onsite.

Compensation
$35.00 to $37.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per week.

Permanent full‑time employment with shift options: early morning, morning, day, evening, shift, or to be determined.
