Position: Housing Caseworker at Alpha House
Become a vital part of Alpha House as a Housing Caseworker, implementing the Housing First and Harm Reduction strategies. Focus on supporting individuals with mental health and addictions.

This permanent full-time role operates from Sunday to Thursday. Your expertise in case management will guide individuals through their housing journey, ensuring basic needs are met effectively. You will collaborate with outreach services and address obstacles faced by clients as they transition from homelessness to stable housing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake assessments and develop tailored action plans

• Provide comprehensive case management support for clients

• Implement effective crisis intervention strategies

• Liaise with community agencies for client support

• Assist with clean and healthy living environments

Requirements:

• At least two years post-secondary education in a related field

• Two years of case management experience with homeless populations

• Valid Class 5 Non-GDL driver's license and clear abstract

• Knowledge of social services available in the community

• Awareness of diverse cultural issues faced by high-risk individuals
