Position: Child and Youth Care Counsellor at Hull Services
Join Hull Services as a full-time Weekday Child and Youth Care Counsellor in the Youth Recovery Program. Support youth facing mental health challenges in a compassionate, therapeutic environment.

This temporary position is crucial for youths aged 13 to 17 struggling with substance use and mental health issues. You'll engage in their daily care and treatment by providing counseling, participating in activities, and promoting a healthy living environment. Afternoon and evening shifts allow flexibility while serving the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support youth through emotional and physical withdrawal symptoms

• Foster positive interactions in structured therapeutic activities

• Supervise daily living activities with educational opportunities

• Model appropriate behavior and maintain confidentiality

• Collaborate effectively with co-workers to enhance program outcomes

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Human Services or Social Sciences

• Experience in therapeutic care preferable

• Excellent counseling and behavior management skills

• Clear police and child intervention records

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
