Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

• Craft and review monthly and annual financial statements that meet GAAP standards.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close cycle—journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Own indirect tax compliance: property tax, sales/use tax, and other related returns.
• Probe the numbers, highlight trends, and investigate outliers to inform business decisions.
• Provide precise, timely results to leadership.
• Support planning cycles with budget and forecast inputs; analyze and explain variances.
• Partner with auditors and lenders by supplying documentation and clear narratives.
• Elevate accounting operations through process improvements and best-practice adoption.

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related area.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a senior-level capacity.
• Strong grasp of GAAP and applicable regulations.
• Hands‑on with ERP systems (Sage, Net Suite, JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel.
• Detail orientation, analytical strength, organized workflow, and problem‑solving agility.
• Clear, confident communicator who collaborates well.

Work is typically performed in an inside, temperature-controlled environment. Works and travels throughout plant environment of varied temperatures and humidity, and wears personal protective equipment, as required.
