3D Modeling Jobs in California — Search & Apply

Skills Needed: • Experienced position that requires a Bachelors or Masters degree and 5-8 years of experience.
• The purpose of the position is to generate and modify CAD drawings in SolidWorks for the R&D product development projects.
• Models and drawings range from components to finished goods.
• Design control will be maintained in our EtQ Product Data Management system and document vault.
• Capture drawings and model from engineering sketches and concepts.
• Develop additional (2nd, 3rd, …) mechanical designs/models working with engineers.
• Incorporate design changes and redlines.
• Apply significant technical expertise and experience as an independent contributor.
• Update and revise component design specifications and interface with vendors for clarification, as required.
• Maintain version control in document vault as well as in EtQ PDM.
• Systems knowledge specializing in 3D design software (SolidWorks).
• Specialized Knowledge: Must be proficient in 3D solids modeling software SolidWorks
