Flight Test Data Processing Engineers are responsible for pre mission setup of the onboard data system recording systems, Real time control room file setup, post mission data products, and the management and configuration control for the mission archive  You will assist with diagnosing and resolving problems that arise from the collection and processing of data

The candidate must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and be able to work independently  You must be willing to work extended hours, weekends, and rotations in support of mission goals

 Must be a US Citizen  This position is located at a facility that requires special access

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field

Experience with data processing, data analytics, software development/scripting, database support, and telemetry

Experience with post test processing of recorded data and creating data products

Experience with communication protocols  Ethernet, ARINC 429 , and data acquisition systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills:

* Security  certification

Experience working in a Flight Test organization

Hardware and/or software programming experience

Familiar with Lockheed Martin Core Data Processing Suite  CDP  

Knowledge of SQL

Knowledge of IRIG 106 standards including Chapter 10, Chapter 9, and Chapter 7

Experience with data management tools, methodologies, database support, and IT systems

Experience recognizing and troubleshooting deficiencies in processes, missing data, and/or malfunctioning network systems

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility

** Work Schedules:
** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees   Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed   These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits

** Schedule for this Position:
** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

** Pay Rate:
** The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York  excluding most major metropolitan areas , Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100    $123,625  For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location  Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only  Lockheed Martin considers factors such as  but not limited to  scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer
