Schedule
:
Part-time, 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon on school days

We are looking for reliable and safety-minded individuals to serve as Adult Crossing Guards for Youngstown City Schools. This position plays a vital role in protecting students as they travel to and from school. Crossing Guards help ensure safe crossings at busy intersections, provide a reassuring presence for families, and model respect and responsibility in the community.

• Safely guide students and pedestrians across intersections before and after school
• Monitor traffic flow and stop vehicles when necessary, using provided equipment
• Wear required safety gear (vest, stop paddle, etc.)
• Report safety concerns or traffic violations to supervisor
• Provide a friendly, dependable presence each school day

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to remain alert and exercise good judgment
  
  Successful completion of a background check and drug test (required)
