What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.

* Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying resident, visitor, vendor, and/or delivery information in accordance with community policies.

* Respond to incidents, gate access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to residents, supervisors, and/or local responders as needed.

* Conduct regular and random patrols around community entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.

* Support residential community operations by documenting daily activity, maintaining accurate visitor and vehicle records, and assisting with security-related inquiries in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

* Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

* At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and a rustic guard shack.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
