Overview
Quality Inspector II job at Eaton Aerospace. Camarillo, CA. This position is based at our Camarillo, CA location.
Responsibilities- Perform and verify visual, dimensional, electrical, mechanical, environmental, and chemical inspection functions relating to source, first article, receiving, in process, final and test operations using company or customer supplied drawings, equipment and/or procedures.
- Review and approve inspection/test data.
- Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and procedures.
- Support AS9100 requirements through the QMS by supporting Quality Best Practices; interface with customer/Government source inspection personnel.
- Maintenance of inspection records in accordance with company procedures.
- Generate and assist in the corrective/preventive action process.
- Understand and support the Quality Management System.
- Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.
- Maintain all equipment necessary to perform work as well as keep a clean work area.
- Provide support to leadership and others throughout the Quality department and manufacturing floor.
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with AS9100 Quality System and product/process auditing techniques.
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to ITAR. All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- Detailed knowledge of aerospace product, manufacturing processes and inspection techniques.
- Certified as Internal or Lead Auditor (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485) preferred.
- Lock-out/Tag-out;
General safety; HAZ-MAT;
Foreign Object Awareness;
Quality System Awareness.
