Elevate your career with Eclipse Automation as a Full-Time Fitter-Welder in Cambridge, ON. Collaborate on custom fabrication projects while ensuring quality and adherence to tolerances.
As a Fitter-Welder, you will report to the Fabrication Plant Manager and play a key role in developing and implementing manufacturing policies. This position requires expertise in fitting structural steel and experience with welding, along with excellent blueprint reading skills. Ideal candidates should be ready to contribute effectively in team environments, meeting project goals on time and within budget while upholding Eclipse's core values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fit structural steel and plate work accurately
• Pass CWB weld tests for MCAW, GMAW, and GTAW
• Read blueprints and understand weld symbols
• Utilize fabrication equipment and overhead cranes
• Communicate effectively with team members
Requirements:
• Fitter-Welder’s Certificate or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years of custom fabrication experience
• Up-to-date welding certifications
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Ethical commitment to company standards
