Hourly rate of pay: $49.40
We have opportunities for you to join our production team as an   NDE Inspector - CGSB RT-2 Certified (nuclear industry) at our Cambridge, Ontario facility.

Primary Function:
To perform all tasks of a General Inspector and non-destructive examinations based on certifications held.
Tasks:
Perform NDE based on certifications in all areas of the shop.
Read and interpret documentation.
Create inspection reports, maintain and file documentation.
Work in a safe manner.
Demonstrate good workmanship and practices.

Qualifications:

Proven commitment to workplace safety.
NDE certifications from a governing body, i.e. CGSB, AWS, CWB
Must possess MT CGSB-2  AND  PT CGSB-2  AND  RT CGSB-2   PLUS   2 of the following 6:  CEDO
UT CGSB-1
RT CGSB-1
2 years as a Fabrication/Machining inspector within BWXT Canada Ltd.;
5 years as Fabrication/Machine inspector with documented evidence from an external company or 5 years Fitting/Welding experience within BWXT Canada Ltd.;
Certified Weld Inspector (AWS-CWI or CWB2).

Proficiency with computers.
Available to work all shifts:  Weekday days: 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Mon – Thurs) OR
Weekday afternoons: 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. (Mon – Thurs) OR
Weekend days: 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Fri, Sat, Sun; paid for 40 hours) OR
Weekend afternoons: 5:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m. (Fri, Sat, Sun; paid for 40 hours)

Additional assets:
Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment or in nuclear power-related industry.
Commitment to quality and the ability to work as a positive, effective team member, willing to go the extra mile to ensure we meet our customer expectations.
