Join CMI in Cambridge, ON as a Machine Operator focused on sustainability. Operate specialized equipment to help recycle metals, ensuring they live on in new products.
As we grow, CMI is looking for dedicated Machine Operators at our Cambridge site. You will be trained to handle various processing equipment, preparing recycled metals for shipment to customers. This role is vital to our mission of preventing waste through effective recycling practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate equipment to compact and process materials safely
• Manage loading of the baler and its operations
• Prepare materials for shipping via trucks and containers
• Conduct housekeeping tasks in the yard
Requirements:
• Heavy Equipment Operator Certification is an asset
• Strong communication skills in English required
• Previous baler experience is beneficial
• Leadership experience is a plus
