Production Operative

We are recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy and growing food manufacturing site based in Duxford, Cambridgeshire. This is a hands‑on role where you will be picking, packing, assisting with keeping the workplace clean and tidy and completing paperwork. You will be working in a fast‑paced environment with real opportunities to progress – including development into a Line Leader position for the right person.

A driving licence and own transport is essential due to the location of the role.

£13.00 per hour

Monday–Friday | 07:30–17:00

2 x 30‑minute breaks

Temp to Perm Opportunity

• Running and monitoring the production line
• Operating machinery safely and efficiently
• Supporting the management of teams on the line
• Carrying out quality checks on products
• Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards
• Sweeping and keeping work areas clean and tidy
• General warehouse duties as required
• Reporting equipment issues to line supervisors
• Cleaning machines ready for the next production run

• Good attitude and strong work ethic
• Team player with a reliable approach
• Own transport (location not accessible by public transport)
• Comfortable working in a food production environment
• Previous experience in food manufacturing is highly desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
