Python​/Oracle Exadata Support Engineer

Accenture Flex offers local, fixed‑duration project‑based work with Accenture. The role supports business transformation for clients through innovative solutions and emerging technologies.

• Experience with distributed application platforms:
  Windows, UNIX, LINUX, SQL.
• Lead triage and resolve production outages under tight deadlines, including root cause analysis and follow‑up.
• Monitor applications using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and ITRS Geneos.
• Knowledge of equities asset class and related trade processing flows.
• Programming skills in Python, Unix/scripting, and Java.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of ITIL SDLC principles and execution.
• Coordinate with offshore/onshore support, business, vendor, and infrastructure partners.
• Provide direct support to front‑/back‑office applications.
• Collaborate effectively with developers and business users to find solutions.
• Work onsite with the client 3 days per week in Pennington or Jersey City, NJ.

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in application‑support development, ensuring stability for critical production platforms in a global, team‑oriented environment.
• Experience with Unix/Linux OS and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
• Proficiency in SQL, including joins.
• Experience supporting large applications using web servers and databases on UNIX platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to analyze slow query performance, memory, and I/O utilization.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, ITRS Geneos, ITIL Remedy, Service Now, Jira, etc.

• Experience with Autosys, Ansible, Grafana, Grid computing, and SRE practices.
• Experience with Mongo
  
  DB, Cloud, and IBM Open Shift.

Hourly salary ranges by location:

• California: $44–$54/hr
