We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven Production Supervisor to lead our shift operations. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our production floor, ensuring we meet our ambitious goals of Zero Defects and 100% On-Time Delivery
.

What You’ll Do- Drive Excellence: Oversee daily operations for your assigned shift, assigning duties to 15-20 direct reports while holding the team accountable to high performance and safety standards.
- Optimize Processes: Identify and resolve machinery malfunctions and quality defects immediately. You will implement process improvements to reduce cycle times, minimize scrap, and lower costs.
- Mentor & Lead: Build a culture of mutual respect and teamwork. You’ll be responsible for training, development, and all aspects of employee relations (from interviewing to performance reviews).
- Operational Control: Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager and Scheduler to prioritize jobs, manage paperwork, and ensure 5S/housekeeping standards are met.
- Act as a Liaison: Serve as the vital link between front-line employees and management, championing our mission and core values.
- Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on supervisory experience (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
- Technical Knowledge: Proven experience in Plastic Processing (Extrusion or Custom Injection Molding preferred).
- Lean Mindset: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Gemba, and Quality Tools.
- Leadership
Skills:
Strong communication, time management, and the ability to handle employee relations with professionalism. - Basics: High School Diploma/GED, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), and solid basic math skills.
- Bonus Points: Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a moderate-noise production environment.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, closed-toe shoes).
