Join Owens Corning as a Procurement Specialist dedicated to sourcing and inventory management for the Toronto and Edmonton plants. Ensure MRO and direct materials are efficiently managed and compliant.

In this pivotal role, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is required. You will support operations by sourcing materials, creating purchase orders in SAP, and ensuring service level optimization. Strong Excel and analytical skills are essential, and you'll collaborate closely with maintenance teams to assess spare parts inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize cost and cycle time through effective sourcing

• Manage inventory levels and purchase orders in SAP

• Conduct critical assessments of spare parts every three years

• Evaluate vendor quotations for sourcing effectiveness

• Resolve purchasing and invoicing issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field

• Advanced skills in Excel and using Pivot Tables

• Familiarity with COUPA or similar procurement systems

• Excellent organizational and time management

• Strong communication and analytical mindset
