As a Community Event Planner, you will be instrumental in organizing events throughout rural Alberta. Your responsibilities will range from detailed planning and vendor management to community relations and promotional activities. This position requires you to ensure that all events align with audience expectations and EQUS’s core values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage events focusing on audience engagement

• Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint needs and preferences

• Support business developments with effective activations

• Organize logistical details, including transport and catering

• Evaluate event outcomes and suggest improvements

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean driving record

• Proven portfolio demonstrating successful event management

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Skilled in handling multiple projects efficiently

• High school diploma and event planning certification required
