Architectural Drafter

Location: South Leeds and Grenville United Counties (Prescott)

Brockville, ON, Canada

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Architectural Drafter to join our team at All Industrial Jobs in Brockville, ON. As an Architectural Drafter, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of industrial buildings and structures.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with architects and engineers to create detailed architectural drawings and plans for industrial buildings and structures

Utilize computer‑aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate and precise drawings

Ensure all drawings comply with building codes, regulations, and industry standards

Review and revise drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and clients

Create 3D models and renderings to help visualize designs

Work closely with project managers to ensure project timelines and deadlines are met

Conduct site visits to gather information and measurements for drawings

Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends and advancements in architectural drafting technology

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural drafting, preferably in the industrial sector

Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit

Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations

Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings

Strong time management and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
