Eastview Middle School is offering two Educational Assistant roles, each with 30 hours per week from August 24, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Ideal candidates should have an Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent, along with experience in assisting children with complex needs. Demonstrated compassion, teamwork, and strong problem-solving capabilities are essential attributes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students’ learning and personal development

• Provide individual assistance with personal care needs

• Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere

• Collaborate with teaching staff to support student success

• Employ problem-solving skills in addressing various student needs

Requirements:

• Educational Assistant Certificate or an equivalent qualification

• Experience in supporting students with diverse behaviors

• Compassionate and dedicated approach to educational support

• Ability to thrive as both an independent and team member

• Mandatory current vulnerable sector criminal record check
