Location: Northeastern Alberta (Fort Chipewyan)

Join the team at Christina Gordon Public School as an Educator for Physical Education, teaching ECDP through Grade 6 students. Your creativity in making PE enjoyable will engage students.

This full-time position starts on August 25, 2026, and requires a Bachelor of Education and a strong background in elementary pedagogy. You will implement Alberta’s curriculum and create effective Individual Program Plans for diverse student needs, ensuring equity in participation. A commitment to fostering relationships and collaboration within the school community is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and teach engaging Physical Education classes

• Implement Individual Program Plans tailored to student needs

• Build strong connections with students, parents, and staff

• Participate in extracurricular clubs and school events

• Communicate regularly with parents about student development

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education degree

• Successful elementary teaching experience

• Proficiency in Alberta curriculum specifics

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Willingness for criminal record check
