Shape the future of students as a Department Head at Roland Michener Secondary School. This Position of Added Responsibility emphasizes guidance and cooperative education without a teaching load.

This position commences on August 31, 2026, and runs until August 31, 2029. The role is designed for qualified educators who will receive a Department Head Allowance, supporting their work in cooperative education and guidance. Candidates must possess Intermediate/Senior qualifications and must be able to achieve a specialist qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct guidance programs that address student needs

• Collaborate with teachers to develop cooperative education programs

• Provide leadership and mentorship to staff in guidance matters

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Teacher accreditation
