Position Overview
PRINCETON SECONDARY SCHOOL is hiring a full‑time, 1.0 FTE temporary teacher for Art 9–12, Media, Photo & Yearbook, Digital Literacy 8 and Ceramics 8. The role begins on September 1, 2026 and ends on June 30, 2027.

Responsibilities
Teach and support student instruction in the specified subject areas, adapting materials, resources, assessments and learning outcomes to meet diverse student needs. Maintain a positive learning environment and collaborate with staff, students, parents and the school team.

Required Qualifications

Training and experience working with grade‑level learners.

Experience adapting materials, resources, assessments and learning outcomes for student needs.

Valid BC Teaching Certificate and familiarity with the BC Curriculum.

Teaching category five or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

Commitment to supporting a variety of learning needs.

Experience/training in supporting the social‑emotional learning needs of students.

Committed to establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students, staff and parents.

Committed to working as a member of a school team in support of students.

Salary and Benefits
The starting annual salary for this full‑time teaching position ranges from  $66,604  to  $116,190 , with placement within the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
