Position: Junior Water Resources Specialist Needed
Location: Northeastern Alberta (Fort Chipewyan)

Join Hatfield's Water Resources Group as a Junior Water Resources Specialist in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Focus on hydrology and hydrogeology while contributing to impactful environmental management projects.

As part of a dynamic team, you will assist in implementing hydrology and climate components while assessing project-related impacts on water resources. This role requires relocation to Fort McMurray and offers a great opportunity to grow in the environmental sector with hands-on fieldwork and ongoing data management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement groundwater and hydrometry programs effectively

• Assess data related to climate change impacts

• Draft technical reports on hydrological findings

• Guide environmental monitoring and permitting processes

• Support and enhance data analysis functions

Requirements:

• Educational background in environmental sciences or related fields

• At least 2 years of monitoring experience

• Knowledge of hydrogeological instruments and telemetry

• Project coordination experience preferred

• Valid driver’s license and driving experience
