Step into a vital role as a Registered Nurse specializing in Perinatal care at Vancouver Island Health Authority. Provide exemplary nursing to obstetrical patients on a part-time basis.

In this temporary position, you'll work as part of a dynamic team to support obstetrical patients, following strict safety and quality standards. With registration as an RN in British Columbia and a background in Perinatal Nursing, your expertise will enhance patient outcomes during rotating shifts. You will also apply your leadership, organizational, and assessment skills in various clinical situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver direct nursing care to patients

• Follow BC College of Nurses and Midwives standards

• Assist in organizing patient demands efficiently

• Lead during emergency situations with confidence

• Foster effective communication with healthcare colleagues

Requirements:

• Active registration with the BC College of Nurses

• Education from a recognized Perinatal program

• Valid certification in CPR Basic Rescuer

• Two years of recent nursing experience

• Completion of a Breastfeeding Course
