Licensed Practical Nurse Family Practice

Location: Sherwood Park West

Elevate patient care at Sherwood Park’s Family Practice Clinic as a licensed practical nurse. Deliver essential nursing services and develop patient care plans in a collaborative environment.

This permanent 0.6 FTE role features a Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday schedule from 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM. You’ll work closely with physicians and patients, conducting assessments, managing education, and enhancing service delivery in a primary care setting. Your strong nursing skills will be vital in navigating various clinical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with clinical procedures and patient education

• Collaborate with a healthcare team to prioritize patient needs

• Implement health screening and self-management programs

• Ensure accurate record-keeping and evaluations

• Communicate effectively with patients about their care

Requirements:

• LPN designation with current Alberta registration

• At least three years of related nursing experience

• BLS Provider certification required

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to manage complex and changing environments
