Position Overview
Fast‑paced gas station and lottery store seeking a full‑time cashier with gas station and OLG (Lottery) experience and a valid Smart Serve licence. The role requires an afternoon shift (2 pm‑10 pm) Monday through Friday, with weekends and holidays as needed.
Location
Belleville, Ontario – corner of Cannifton and College St (across from Tim Hortons).
Responsibilities
Handle cash accurately and process transactions.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Maintain store cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
Restock shelves and coolers as needed.
Empty and dispose of waste, sweep and mop floors.
Clean bathrooms.
Assist with corporate tasks such as picking up litter in the lot and lawn.
Work independently and with minimal direction.
Qualifications & Requirements
Prior gas station, lottery, or alcohol sales experience (preferred).
Valid Smart Serve licence and OLG licence (or willing to receive training).
Work permit and legal authority to sell tobacco, lottery, and alcohol.
Excellent English speaking skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift required items.
Flexible, reliable, and have own transportation.
Minimum age of 18 years.
Availability for afternoon, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Fast learner.
Schedule & Compensation
8‑hour shift (2 pm‑10 pm) weekdays.
Pay: $17.60–$18.60 per hour.
Start date:
July 1 2026 or ASAP.
