The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and has 6-9 years of experience in child protection services. The role involves overseeing the Prevention Services Coordinator and collaborating with local programs and Elders to enhance family support mechanisms. You will utilize holistic approaches to strengthen community ties and offer vital prevention services aligned with First Nation principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Prevention Services Coordinator’s activities

• Foster collaboration with community and Nation programs

• Implement effective early intervention for at-risk families

• Support family stability through wellness initiatives

• Ensure compliance with applicable First Nation frameworks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field

• 6-9 years direct experience in child protection

• Strong understanding of First Nation cultural laws

• Experience working with youth and families in need

• Required background checks prior to employment
