Join ETHOS Career Management Group as an Employment Counsellor in Duncan. Provide career guidance to Indigenous clients, focusing on employment strategies and overcoming barriers in a supportive environment.

In this full-time position at the WorkBC Centre, you will guide Indigenous individuals through the complexities of career planning and job searches.

Your role includes identifying barriers to employment and designing individualized strategies to support clients in achieving their career goals. As part of your service delivery, you will utilize a trauma-informed approach and collaborate with local communities to facilitate effective employment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver career counseling and development to clients

• Navigate Mobile Services in diverse communities

• Create focused strategies using a trauma-informed lens

• Support clients with job applications and referrals

• Work with clients to enhance job sustainment skills

Requirements:

• Relevant degree or certification in Human Services

• At least 1-year experience with challenging populations

• Understanding of Indigenous cultural contexts

• Skills in vocational assessment and career mentorship

• Demonstrated case management abilities
