Join the Multi-Service Centre as an Employment Consultant, where your passion for helping the community can thrive. Support clients with career coaching and job readiness in the tri-counties of Oxford, Elgin, and Norfolk.

This Employment Consultant role is ideal for motivated individuals who want to make a positive community impact. You will be part of a collaborative Employment Services team delivering exceptional client-driven services. Your work will involve conducting assessments, enhancing job seeking skills, and maintaining comprehensive client records while helping with apprenticeships and engaging community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct employment assessments to identify client needs

• Provide career coaching and support with job applications

• Manage client records in the Employment Ontario system

• Collaborate with community partners for resource access

• Assist with job fairs and outreach events

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in relevant fields

• Experience with employment or social services

• Career Development Practitioner Certificate is an asset

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Commitment to professional growth and development
