Assistant Boys Soccer Coach

Canby High School is hiring an Assistant Boys Soccer Coach to begin 8/17/2026.

This is a non-district funded (contingent upon fundraised dollars) position.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge of emergency first aid procedures - current First Aid/CPR card required.

Ability to work successfully with high school students, families, school staff, and the public.

Ability to perform extra duty responsibilities in accordance with school and district procedures and policies.

Ability to meet criminal records requirements of the state of Oregon.

Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience/knowledge of the sport of interscholastic Soccer, coaching techniques, and student supervision.

Required Trainings:

• OSAA trainings required prior to working with athletes:
  Interscholastic Coaching Course, Concussion Recognition & Management, Heat Illness Prevention, Anabolic Steroids and Performance-Enhancing Substances, and Interrupting and Preventing Discriminatory Acts.
• District trainings required prior to starting work:
  Safe Schools (Vector Training).

Applicant agrees to assume cost and arrange for fingerprint-based criminal records check upon offer of employment ($10-$20 at printing; $66 payroll deduction).
