Accounting Clerk

OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW:
We are searching for a highly motivated Accounting Clerk for the corporate accounting team in our Canton, MA location. The Accounting Clerk will be tasked with data entry, verifying and reconciling vendor/customer invoices, storing documents in an imaging system, completing payments and assisting with overall Accounts Receivable and Payable. This is an entry-level position with an established and well-regarded global logistics service provider.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Receiving, recording and disbursing vouchers, wires, ACH and checks

* Posting financial transactions-Cash receipts and Cash disbursements

* Reviewing customer/vendor statements

* Verifying transactions to ensure compliance with company's financial policies and procedures

* Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Conducts business and represents C.H. Powell Company with honesty and integrity

High school diploma or equivalent required

At least 1+yr of accounting experience

Ability to collaborate and cooperate with colleagues across departments

High energy, self-motivated and highly professional

Job Type: Full-time

Salary range is $45,000-$50,000.00 per annual
