The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the direct sales, customer service, and new customer development for a defined geographical region. The position necessitates a minimum 60% direct customer/prospect contact via sales meetings at their places of business.
Outside sales is the principal liaison between the company and the customer – managing communications and developing long-term relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Locate & develop new business opportunities via internet prospecting, telemarketing, and direct personal selling
- Service & Manage relationship of current customer base while growing new account base
- Communicate customer requirements to the quality and production departments
- Promote positive customer relations
- Very good communication / public presentation skills
- Good critical reasoning / problem solving skills
- 3-5 years outside sales experience
- 4-year college degree or equivalent
