Full Job Description

As a Generator Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing customers with on‑site generator proposals while delivering an exceptional customer experience from the initial consultation through the final sale. You will serve as the first impression to homeowners and play a critical role in representing the company’s professionalism, product knowledge, and commitment to customer satisfaction. This position requires a motivated, goal‑oriented individual who is comfortable working directly with customers in their homes, educating them on generator solutions, and helping them choose the best system to meet their needs.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners throughout the sales process
• Educate customers on generator products, installation timelines, warranty options, and financing solutions
• Accurately assess customer needs and recommend appropriate generator systems
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer records within company CRM systems
• Coordinate with permitting, operations, and installation teams to ensure smooth project handoff
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance expectations
• Stay current on generator product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings
• Represent the company professionally at all customer interactions and community events
• Ensure all sales documentation and contracts are completed accurately and submitted timely
• Provide exceptional follow‑up and post‑sale customer support to ensure customer satisfaction
• Manage sales pipeline and maintain consistent communication with prospective customers
• Travel within the assigned territory as needed to meet with customers and attend appointments

Base salary plus uncapped commission structure, providing strong earning potential for motivated and high‑performing individuals.

• Previous outside sales or in‑home sales experience preferred
• Experience in construction, electrical, HVAC, home improvement, or generator industry preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Self‑motivated with the ability to manage a flexible schedule
• Comfortable presenting and speaking with customers in person
• Must maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Ability to read site plans, property layouts, and basic technical information preferred
• Goal‑oriented mindset with a strong drive to succeed
