We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate expertise in infusion therapy, ensuring the highest level of patient care. This role involves working closely with patients to administer medications, monitor their progress, and provide education on treatment plans. The role will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Administer intravenous (IV) medications and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions or complications during infusion therapy.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate health status and response to treatment.
  • Educate patients and their families about infusion procedures, medication regimens, and potential side effects.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and infection control measures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to infusion practices.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience
  • IV placement
  • Mixing and administering of IV medications
  • Scheduling and charting via EMR platform
  • Proficient in Patient Assessment techniques, ensuring comprehensive evaluations of patients' conditions.
  • Understanding of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) usage and management within patient care settings.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong critical thinking skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Medication administration: 1 year (Required)
  • IV insertion: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification
  • LPN license (Required)
  • RN License (Required)
