Job Description
The Direct Sales Agent Specialist is responsible for the profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales and understanding customers’ needs to build rapport and trust. This position drives sales and maintains a book of business within the market/retail location, attracting and generating new customers and cross‑selling existing customers to support product offerings including Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance.
The agent sells to walk‑in customers, markets products outside of the office through marketing calls and in‑person visits, creating community relationships, and assists customers in the office.

- 0 – 2 years of experience.
- P&C licensing (preferred) or intent to attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.
- Successful closure of sales of insurance and ancillary products.
- Achievement of sales goals through new product sales and cross‑sell/retention.
- Use of community contacts to build a sales pipeline and maintain an active physical presence in the community.
- Initiation of outbound calling to an established target customer base for product offerings.
- Monitoring of key competitors in the local market and suggestion of initiatives to improve company positioning.
- Collaboration with Direct Sales Leadership on marketing and sales processes to meet production and growth goals.
- Delivery of optimal results within appropriate metrics, including quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction and financial performance.
- Understanding, promotion, and current knowledge of company underwriting guidelines and policy changes.

Base hourly rate: $20.00 per hour. Total compensation may include incentive pay, commissions, and bonuses based on individual and team performance.
